Wasteland
Our shop for R&D and experimentation
first product experiment coming to Kickstarter 2026
About us
Fuzzy Robotics runs Wasteland, a shop for R&D and experimentation. Some things get laid to waste; others, beautiful, make it to the ether.
We’re not just a game studio. We build and ship things: tabletop games, tools, and whatever else fits. Our first experiment is a cybersecurity-themed board game, PTSD: Terminal 01, coming to Kickstarter. More to come.
Experiments
PTSD: Terminal 01 First product experiment
You’re in the terminal - dark nets, data streams, high-stakes targets. Scan the network, stack exploits, and hit locations before the rest. Disrupt markets, harden positions, plant intel. Win with fame from hacks and end-game data value on the blockchain. The game uses data cards, location targets, and three market decks (Black hat, Grey hat, White hat) for a full tabletop experience.

Daniel M Simser
Also known as Ov3rlrd · Founder & Principal Engineer, Fuzzy Robotics
20+ years of systems, infrastructure, and human-facing interfaces.
My passion for building extends into the physical and creative realms. Having founded and led the Bozeman Makerspace for over 10 years, I now channel that decade of hardware and prototyping expertise into Fuzzy Robotics, my private skunkworks lab. I am also the lead developer of SHA-6A8040D1.io, a cyberpunk-themed board game currently in development.
I don't just write code; I design ecosystems—whether they run on a state server, a global enterprise network, or a tabletop.
